ULK is accessible to anybody who complies with the admission conditions to higher education in Rwanda. Its doors are open to regular as well as to part-time student

 In order to be registered for any degree course, the prospective student must hand in :

• A notified photocopy of the required certificate
• A dully filled in registration form
• A copy of the identity card
• An evidence of registration fees payment

 At the present time, registration is done at the campus but the institute is developing a system to enable students to apply and register online.
