Dear Sir /Madam:
The permanent endeavor of the Kigali Independent University is to provide the country with the Human Resources it needs for it integral development.
Such an endeavor guides our teaching programmes. These programmes are carried out in the four faculties organized by the University; notably the Faculty of Economic Sciences and Management, the Faculty of Law, the Faculty of Social Sciences and the Faculty of Science and Technology.
Theoretical courses are reinforced and supported by practical exercices and laboratory workshops, as a way to develop knowledge and practical know-how for our students.
Courses in entrepreneurship are extended into the different faculties in such a way that any ULK finalist might positively contribute to the growth of the national labor market. ULK opens its doors to candidate of both sex, from any ethnic group, any religion and any region, who fulfill the conditions of admission.
As regard to students' training, lecturers holding different academic degrees are recruited, based upon their scientific competence, their experience, but also their moral values.
Research at the university is mainly conducted on topics of local and national interest. ULK is determined to offer services to the community not only through research, but also by means of conferences, seminars and debates that it organizes regularly
