Master's Degree in Commerce- Management (University of Western Cape, South Africa); Postgraduate Diploma in Management - Marketing (University of Cape Town, South Africa); Bachelor's Degree in Financial Management (Université Catholique de Bukavu, DRC); International Certificate in Computer Sciences (Creative Minds Institute of South Africa); Certificate in Multimedia Techniques (Facultés Universitaires Notre Dame de la Paix, Namur, Belgium & Université de Liège, Belgium)
Since its inception in 1996, ULK has committed itself to provide an education of quality, a recent research survey showed that 54.9 % of the university students have chosen it on the reason that it provides education services of quality. The university has also been constantly working towards enhancing the quality of its services by adopting good national, regional and international practices.
Today, a further step into the university road towards Quality Assurance and Enhancement is achieved, the Quality Management Directorate has been established within the university, with the main aim of setting up the University Quality policies, procedures and practices adressing the standards set by the Higher Education Council (HEC) as well as the International academic standards and best Practices.
The ULK Quality Management Directorate has the following main attributions:
• Conducting a daily monitoring on how quality principles, techniques and tools are applied within the university;
• Conducting a regular monitoring on how the Higher Education Council (HEC) standards are applied within the university;
• Conducting a regular monitoring on the University Strategic Plan and Operational Plan;
• Setting-up and monitoring the university LMS (Learning Management System).
